Flintrock Partners with Garden of Hope

At Flintrock Builders, we’re committed to creating more than homes—we’re building brighter futures. On December 11, 2024 we proudly donated $25,000 to Garden of Hope Central Texas, a nonprofit providing emergency foster care for displaced children.

Garden of Hope, founded by Wilfredo Ocasio Jr. and his wife, has served over 800 children since 2019 through shelters in Salado and Killeen. Their mission ensures sibling groups stay together and provides a safe, nurturing environment for vulnerable children.

Supporting the Central Texas Community

Communities in Schools

In Temple and Belton, we recognized the importance of education and the challenges some families face in preparing their children for school. To help, we donated essential school supplies to local schools, ensuring students had the tools they needed to succeed in the classroom. These contributions were more than just pencils and notebooks; they were investments in the bright futures of the next generation.

We also partnered with Communities In Schools, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering students to stay in school and achieve in life. By supporting their efforts, we helped provide resources and assistance to children navigating personal and educational challenges. These contributions reaffirm our belief in the power of community and the importance of standing beside students every step of the way.

Building Joy Beyond Homes

Through our participation in toy drives, such as Project HEARTBEAT for Belton ISD and Circle of Care, we helped bring smiles to children who might otherwise go without during the holidays. Project HEARTBEAT supports students and families facing homelessness, ensuring they receive critical resources to stay connected to their education. Circle of Care provides a lifeline for children and families in need, fostering stability and safety. Being part of these initiatives allowed us to extend our mission beyond construction and into the hearts of our community.

Beyond education, we’ve also been proud to support organizations that offer hope and stability to those in need. One of our most exciting partnerships has been with Garden of Hope, where we are contributing to the construction of their new facility. This space will allow them to expand their impact, providing vital services to individuals and families in crisis. Additionally, we’re thrilled to support Homes for Hope, an initiative dedicated to building homes for those in need across the state. By providing safe and stable housing, Homes for Hope offers families a fresh start and a foundation for a brighter future.

Homes for HOPE

On January 14, Flintrock Builders proudly donated $100,000 to Homes for HOPE during a special ceremony at their Belton, Texas, offices. This contribution will empower over 4,000 families in 2025 through initiatives like business training, savings programs, and micro-loans, helping break the cycle of poverty. Representatives from Homes for HOPE and Hope International joined Flintrock to highlight the profound global impact of this partnership. Flintrock Builders is honored to support this life-changing mission, aligning with their commitment to building stronger communities and brighter futures worldwide.
